He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, bringing decades of expertise in aesthetic, reconstructive, and hand procedures.

After graduating with honors from Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Applebaum completed a general surgery residency and hand surgery fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by a plastic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he served as chief resident. He further refined his aesthetic expertise with a fellowship in cosmetic surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

Dr. Applebaum is affiliated with Boca Raton Community Hospital and Delray Medical Center. In addition to his clinical work, he is a certified instructor for advanced dermal filler and neurotoxin techniques, an editorial advisor at iHealthSpot, and an active leader in numerous professional societies.

Committed to community service, he has volunteered with the American Cancer Society, provided skin cancer screenings, offered educational presentations, and participated in community tattoo removal projects.
